There is a growing demand for living environments that adapt to changing life stages, so that residents do not have to move repeatedly. Age-friendly living and social cohesion are becoming increasingly important, as is the ability to invest in a sustainable and future-oriented living environment. People are seeking a healthy living environment where nature takes center stage and where there is room for connection between generations.

Living near tomorrow.
Kernpioniers brings generations together in a green, healthy living environment with nature as its foundation. The concept offers a place to live for life, with homes that adapt to the resident and an environment that encourages interaction and social cohesion. Thanks to a diverse range of housing options, an inclusive community is created to meet a wide range of housing needs.

The design is based on modularity and flexibility. Homes are built around fixed modules with wet cores, around which the rest of the home can be flexibly arranged and adapted.

Parametric design is used to efficiently deliver customization within a standardized system. The structure consists of sustainable CLT or HSB frames. Furthermore, construction uses ecological materials, in line with the ambition to create a healthy and nature-inclusive living environment.
